From the results I got from practicing my shutter speed photography, I learned that the slower the shutter speed the more motion blur was in the photograph and therefore the faster the shutter speed was the less motion blur was in the photograph. In relation to exposure, the slower the shutter speed, the darker the photo would be because there was less time for light to be exposed to the camera. When the shutter speed was slower the picture was brighter because there was more light exposed to the camera for longer.

For my final I chose to make my prompt life imitates art. I thought of this concept by taking a picture of my friends mimicking pictures of sculptures, which became my inspiration for this series. For me this prompt shows how people can connect with art even though it might not be something they would normally imagine. It can be hard to connect with religious figures, angels in graveyards, or very old hands but I explored how people can step into the role. No longer are they just an observer of art, they experience it themselves. I think that these photos show me as an artist because I do not stick to one specific style, I gravitate to what I like to see. In this series you see a heavily contrasted and dark picture, but later see brighter and happier images with less contrast. My photos have progressed because I have learned to take photos for me and my liking, not just for a prompt or for the likings of others.
