How did you match the scene from the magazine to the scene you photographed? Did you control the light, composition, etc?
The photo was a picture of me when I was younger in my bathtub that my mom took. I was able to match it up to the scene because the bathtub is the same as it was in the picture and I made sure to match it up with the tub in the original. In this bathroom there is a very small window that I opened to try to make the lighting more natural, but it didn't do much. 
What do you like best about the photo?
My favorite part of the photo was the photo I chose for the assignment. I also liked how much it lined up in the front of the photo. I also like the exposure of this photo in comparison to my others. I like how I tried to make the photo seem more white and brighter than others that were dark.
What would you differently if you did it again?/What would make it better?
If I could do this assignment again I would have tried to add more light into the photo because it is more grainy than I would have liked it to be.

For my final I chose to make my prompt life imitates art. I thought of this concept by taking a picture of my friends mimicking pictures of sculptures, which became my inspiration for this series. For me this prompt shows how people can connect with art even though it might not be something they would normally imagine. It can be hard to connect with religious figures, angels in graveyards, or very old hands but I explored how people can step into the role. No longer are they just an observer of art, they experience it themselves. I think that these photos show me as an artist because I do not stick to one specific style, I gravitate to what I like to see. In this series you see a heavily contrasted and dark picture, but later see brighter and happier images with less contrast.
